Two weeks until Wellington Champs

Posted on: 24 August 2017

Two weeks until Wellington Champs. This is the key meet for the majority of the club this season. We have over 100 qualified swimmers for this meet! Entries close this Sunday.

I have attached the eligibility report which will tell you which swims you can enter. This doesn't include Sunday's Choc fish meet results. These are still being processed. If your swimmer achieved a qualifying time at that meet then they can enter Wellington Champs in it. Chris will send through those results shortly.

What to enter? We need all qualified swimmers to enter ALL races. Some Tigersharks may have a very busy schedule. They should discuss with myself on pool deck if there's any races they think they should miss.

I look forward to seeing the entries flooding in this week so the Pirates can put forward our biggest ever team for this meet!

Thorndon Timetable

From next Monday we move to Thorndon pool. The timetable runs from July 3rd-August 28th including the same sessions through the school holidays. It would be great to see all Pirates use the 2 week school holiday to give their swimming a boost and get to all the sessions available for their squad.
